Freshly landed the Nike Dunk High Red October pays homage to a sometimes forgotten, but incredibly prevalent area of Nike Sportswear history. The Red October was one of the signature colourways for the Air Yeezy 2, a shoe that marked the final chapter of Kanye West’s collaboration with the Beaverton brand. Since then, the Red October colourway made famous by that shoe has returned atop a number of releases by Nike. The newest of which is this pair of Nike Dunk Highs, coming complete with lifestyle suede across the swoosh branding, toecap, and ankle support while a Yeezy influenced rubberized star texture finds its way onto the shoe heel area. This shoe is less an imitation but more a celebration of one of Nike’s most iconic eras, and it certainly is a fitting tribute.
